I have never had to do this before. Where do I start?

We are here to help. Tell us a little about the person requiring care, we can then arrange a free care consultation visit to talk about all of the care options available, with no obligations.

Will a care consultation cost anything?

No, all of our consultation calls and home visits are free of charge.

What sort of care packages do you offer?

Homelium provide care within your own home, the amount and length of visits would depend on the clients needs, you can use our Support Time Calculate to get a quick estimate of the length of care calls you may require. Homelium also offer a sitting service for as many hours as what a client would like, overnight care, temporary care and live in care. Once an assessment has been done and a care plan is in place Homelium can provide short notice care (things happen unexpectedly) this is when you can call Homelium we can arrange short notice care calls.

How much does this cost?

The cost of care depends on individual needs, as every client is unique. Our packages rang from 30-minute visits up to 1 hour 30 minutes. Other packages include options such as companionship, overnight care, and live-in care. Get in touch with us today for further information.

I don’t know if I can afford this care?

You may be entitled to some funding towards your care. We can help you find out what financial help you are entitled to.

What can the carer do when visiting?

A carer can assist with a comprehensive range of care services tailored to individual needs. In terms of personal care, they can help with tasks such as bathing, washing/hair washing, showering, changing continence products, managing catheter care, medication administering, and more. For home help, carers can support with light housework, changing beds, doing laundry, preparing meals, and even shopping or picking up prescriptions as needed. In addition to practical assistance, carers also provide valuable companionship. This may involve a sitting service where they engage in activities like playing games, baking, or simply chatting with the client. They can also accompany clients to appointments, shopping trips, or day outings, ensuring they have enjoyable and fulfilling experiences. Overall, carers offer a holistic approach to care, addressing not only physical needs but also providing emotional support and companionship to enhance the well-being of their clients. We also offer bespoke services at the clients requirements.

What if I don't get along with my carer?

If there are any concerns, simply inform us, and we'll arrange for a different carer. We understand that not every match is perfect, and we're committed to listening to your feedback and taking appropriate action. Your comfort and satisfaction are our priorities.
